Manila Standard Today - Over the years, Sta. Lucia Land has single-handedly transformed the landscape of the Greater East Area, turning once sleepy towns into dynamic communities, and pioneering a booming mall business in the area.
While shopping malls were rising in the busy areas of Makati and Quezon City in the late ‘80s, Sta. Lucia, in 1991, preferred to build a 119,000-square meter shopping complex to cater to the burgeoning communities of Pasig, Cainta, Marikina, and Antipolo. The first in the area, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall soon became a major commercial, entertainment, and leisure hub.
Today, Sta. Lucia Land (SLI) fortifies its presence in the eastern Metro Manila with Sta. Lucia City, an integrated urban hub.
Hinged on a township concept, Sta. Lucia City allows residents to enjoy the benefits of community living with all the conveniences of an urban center, away from the congestion of the metropolis.
“With 11 hectares of prime real estate, Sta. Lucia City sits at the junction of the four major cities of the Greater East Area, with a potential market reach of 300,000 households and one million residents from Marikina City, Antipolo City, San Mateo, Montalban, Pasig City and Cainta,” states SLI president Exequiel Robles.

The changing face of the East
Sta. Lucia City will be marked by a luxurious block of condominium towers attracting an upscale clientele.
Sta. Lucia Residenze is the planned high rise residential component of Sta. Lucia City, starting with Monte Carlo and Santorini, the first two of five gleaming towers in the condominium complex. The Santorini tower will also join Sta. Lucia’s condotel portfolio, assuring owners of steady income through rental revenues within the contract period, with a high return on investment.
Matilde Robles, president, Royale Homes Marketing Corp. added that “as an SLI development, Sta. Lucia Residenze is stamped with a guarantee of value, backed by the company’s strength and years of experience in developing suburban properties and leisure developments within a masterplanned community,” asserts.
